The Scholastic Book Fair is happening from October 16 - October 24 on your student's library day! I'm sending home information this week during library class. I know it is early, but since the first day will be the Thursday after fall break, I wanted to give everyone plenty of time to think about it! Remember to set up an eWallet! Hello, Highland Families!
Last week, students in grades 3, 4, and 5 were given an opportunity to bring home a paper with information about trying out for the Highland Elementary Academic Team (HEAT)! We compete in Quick Recall, Content Assessments, Written Composition, and Future Problem Solving. If you're interested in your student trying out, please review the information and send in a paper letting us know what your student is interested in and which tryout day they can stay for on Tuesday or Thursday this week.
They may also pick up a paper from Mrs. Perry tomorrow and turn it in the morning of the tryout!
This is only open to students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.
