A special postcard is headed your way soon! Homeroom announcement postcards will be mailed on Thursday, July 30 and will reveal your child’s homeroom teacher for the upcoming school year, and will feature a QR code link to a video introduction!

To receive a postcard, your child must be registered (OLR updated) for the upcoming school year by July 29. Registration instructions can be found here:

Three Highland students. Calvin Vaughn, Weston Paul, and Elijah Paul have all qualified to compete at the AAU Track & Field Junior Olympic Games later this summer in Des Moines, Iowa. *Calvin will be competing in Long Jump in the 9 year old division. *Weston will be competing in Long Jump & High Jump in the 10 year old division. *Elijah will be competing in Turbo Javelin & Shot Put in the 8 and Under division. There will be a "Special Called Meeting" of the HES SBDM Council tomorrow at 3::30. This is due to being on the 2nd Thursday instead of the typical 3rd Thursday. of the month.

The past couple of weeks Highland has celebrated the retirement of 3 VERY special people! Ms. Melanie Dakin, Ms. Sandy Smith, and Mr. Kendall Bowles have been serving students of Glasgow for many years (80+ years total between the 3 of them!). We will miss them all so much - but we are so excited for them!! #ThisIsHighland
