A few weeks ago, Ms. Morgan and Mr. Elmore's kindergartners teamed up with some awesome Glasgow High School home economics students to create monsters! 👾 Our kids designed them, and the high schoolers brought them to life by sewing stuffed versions that looked just like their drawings!
Then a language arts class used our kinders’ ideas—like what their monster likes to eat and do—to write and illustrate storybooks using AI-generated pictures. 📚✨
Today, our high school friends came to share and read those books with our kids. It was such a fun project full of creativity, teamwork, and smiles! 💙 We’re so thankful for this special partnership!

The Highland 4-H Club is off to a wonderful start. We have learned about dairy cows, made bird feeders, decorated pumpkins, created a 3-D pumpkin using puzzle pieces, made marshmallow rockets, decided on a service project, and spent time learning about how to better serve our school and community. Highland is so thankful for our partnership with Barren County 4-H Extension Office Leader, Landyn Houchens! Our 4-H club sponsors are Landyn Houchens, Tisha Syra, and Angela Lindsey.
