Three Highland students. Calvin Vaughn, Weston Paul, and Elijah Paul have all qualified to compete at the AAU Track & Field Junior Olympic Games later this summer in Des Moines, Iowa.
*Calvin will be competing in Long Jump in the 9 year old division.
*Weston will be competing in Long Jump & High Jump in the 10 year old division.
*Elijah will be competing in Turbo Javelin & Shot Put in the 8 and Under division.

The past couple of weeks Highland has celebrated the retirement of 3 VERY special people! Ms. Melanie Dakin, Ms. Sandy Smith, and Mr. Kendall Bowles have been serving students of Glasgow for many years (80+ years total between the 3 of them!). We will miss them all so much - but we are so excited for them!! #ThisIsHighland

Our 3rd graders had a blast with today’s Egg Drop Challenge! 🥚🚀 Students tested their creative designs to see whose egg could survive the big drop. We loved watching their problem-solving and excitement during this fun STEM activity!

What an exciting day as Highland hosted its first ever Color Run! From the bright colors filling the air to the huge smiles on every face, it was a day packed with excitement, energy, and pure joy! The arts have always been a cornerstone at Highland Elementary. Every student has both Music and Art classes each week, as we have two full-time teachers in those areas.
